Centre Director | 4-Day Work Week | Wheatbelt Lifestyle

📍 Goomalling, WA

Are you tired of the endless 5-day grind and the noise of large-scale childcare centres? It’s time to swap the chaos for community.

We are seeking an experienced Centre Director/Coordinator to lead a intimate 19-place rural service in the heart of the Wheatbelt. This is a rare opportunity to drive high-quality early childhood outcomes while genuinely reclaiming your work-life balance.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Reclaim Your Fridays: Say goodbye to the weekend rush. This is a permanent 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday, 36 hours total).

  • Impact Without Burnout: Lead a small, close-knit team where you actually know every child and family by name.

  • The Perfect Balance: Enjoy a healthy mix of "on-the-floor" engagement and 10–12 hours of dedicated admin/non-contact time per week.

  • Professional Growth: Take full ownership of the service, including 1–2 days focused on finance, payroll, and grant management.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated leader who is ready to immerse themselves in our community. To be successful, you will have:

  • Qualifications: A Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or higher).

  • Compliance: A valid WA Working with Children Check (WWCC) and unrestricted Australian work rights.

  • Health & Safety: Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications.

  • Certifications: Completed Mandatory Reporting and Food Safety training.

  • Mindset: A passion for rural education and the ability to manage both the "heart" and the "business" of a small centre.

Ready to trade the commute for a community? Apply now to start your new chapter in Goomalling.
